House Teams

Every pupil in school is a school councillor and we have monthly house circle time for school council business.  These circle times are supported by the house captains who have been voted in by their house teams; they are all representatives from Falcon Class (year 6). Each member of staff, excluding the Headteacher, is also linked to one of the teams. During the school week, house points are awarded to children for their effort, resilience, perseverance, kindness, pride and respect (all values introduced so far) and each Friday, weekly winners are announced in celebration assembly, where they proudly hold up the house cup.

Each house is named after one of the three rivers: Debden, Granta and Wicken, which all flow through the village.
