Robin class were so excited when they heard the results of the Young Writers competition we entered a couple of weeks ago at the start of the Spring term. Young Writers would like to publish every child in the class's entry into a book called "Once Upon A Dream - Illuminate Your Mind"! Robins were so excited to find out that they are going to be published poets by the age of 10! We are looking forward to publication day on Friday 19th April 2024 and to see our poems in a real book! Each child was awarded a certificate for their achievement!

In February, Robin Class took part in a live lesson as part of National Story Telling Week. During the talk, they learnt how to get their ideas down onto paper and turn it into an exciting plan. They put this into action after the session and planned their own story called  'Crocodile Lane'. During the half-term holiday the children were tasked to turn their plans into real chapter books. Every child make a unique chapter book with eye-catching covers and gripping blurbs. They enjoyed sharing their creations with each other when we returned to school! Well done Robins - amazing effort!
