Breakfast Club

In April 2025 we were chosen to be a pilot school for the Government Breakfast Club school initiative.  We even appeared on BBC News Look East!  It has been a huge success and we have a large number of our children attending on a daily basis. 

 

There are two parts to our Breakfast Club provision.  Our first session starts at 7:30am and is charged at £5.00 - childcare vouchers can be used for this.  Our second session starts at 8:00am and is free of charge.  Children arrive via the front door with the session being held in the school hall. Children are able to choose from a variety of cereals, as well as toast with different spreads, yoghurt and fruit.  Sometimes there are special breakfasts such as pancake and fruit or waffles and fruit.  Dietary requirements are catered for.  There are a variety of activities for the children to participate in, such as games, yoga, arts and crafts, puzzles, books and if it is dry they can also go and play on the playground.
