Home School Communication
At Newport Primary School we want to keep you updated with our news. When your child starts at Newport we will send you an invitation via email to join ClassDojo. ClassDojo can be accessed by downloading a free app from any Android or Apple iPhone device. ClassDojo is our main form of communication and will allow you to receive whole school messages, messages only relevant to your child's class as well as an option to privately message between parents/carers and your child's class teacher. ClassDojo also has an option for messages to be translated into different langauges. We do ask that our ClassDojo Acceptable Use and Guidance policy is read, understood and adhered to, this can be found by clicking here.
A weekly newsletter is sent out to parents/carers via ClassDojo on a Friday from the Headteacher. Classteachers will also send out a weekly update on a Friday via ClassDojo.
We use Schoolgateway for parents/carers to book and pay for after school clubs, school trips and breakfast club. This is also where you pay for school meals.
