• Harvest Festival performance

  Friday morning was filled with joy as the whole school joined in with the harvest festival celebrations; dragonfly class came into their first ever assembly and performed their 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow' song with sweet and tuneful voices and they sat beautifully and watched the rest of the school perform. Year 1 gave a great rendition of 'Big Red Combine harvester', followed by Badger class with their 'George Ezra style harvest song'. Otter class sang an acapella version of 'For the Harvest', followed by 'Conkers' performed confidently by Fox class; Robin class sang the harvest samba - with dancing vegetables, which bought many smiles to the room and the final performance was Falcon class, who performed a dramatic reading of the poem 'Autumn poem' with brilliant actions and intonation. It was quite a fantastic morning.
