Textiles - Phone Cases

At the start of the Spring term in DT, we explored textiles and made our own phone cases.

We begun the topic with some field research on phone cases and then moved onto the design stage. For the design we first needed to measure the phone that the case was intended for and then we had to produces 3 potential designs. Once we had selected our chosen design we set about finding the correct materials for our project. We used felt, thread, needles, pens, cotton and buttons.
