Getting Here

• Car: Our school is located off London Road (B1383) and is approximately 10 minutes from Saffron Walden. There are links via the M25, A10, A11 and M11.

• Bicycle: We have limited secure bicycle storage facilities for pupils, staff and visitors.

• Bus: We are served by the 301 to Saffron Walden and Bishop’s Stortford.

• Train: We are approximately 8 minutes from Newport Train Station, with trains to Cambridge and London Liverpool Street.

• Parking: We have limited parking facilities for staff and would encourage visitors to call in advance to enquire about parking availability.

Accessibility of the School Site

We welcome all visitors to our school.

All the classrooms and playgrounds are on one level. The doors into the old building (Years R, 1, 2 and 3) are still standard size and have not been widened to allow full access for adult wheelchairs.

The newer building (Key Stage 2) was built to more modern accessibility standards and has wider doorways.

The playing field is accessed down a small slope.

There are two accessible toilets in the newer KS2 building.
