Matisse inspired art

We have learnt about the French artist 'Henri Matisse'; we found out about his life, how he made his artwork and his change in techniques. We then had a go at creating his 'The Snail' artwork with collage techniques, drew snail shells from observations and learnt how to sketch and shade with pencils and finally, we worked as a class to create an inspired piece of work like his 'La Perruche et la Sirène’
