After months of anticipation and endless hours of perfecting the songs and learning the moves, the day finally arrived and we were off to the O2 to perform in the Young Voices Choir Concert 2024. After a while on the coach, we were at the 02 and we made our way into the spectacular foyer and waited patiently to be admitted. Once inside, we were checked in and found a space to eat our packed lunch. We had a fabulous view from our seats and from 2pm until 5pm, we practiced our songs with some of the celebrities including DJ Grammar and Nandi Bushell and the live band. After that, we had some free time to eat our dinner, before the parents arrived, and then the concert began at 7pm. We sang and danced our hearts out throughout the concert, remembering parts and dance moves, loving every minute of it!

All of the singing and dancing meant that both adults and children alike were extremely tired by the time the concert finished, but it was a day of fabulous memories - fun, friendships, teamwork, perseverance and focus; we will reflect on an inspiring day that we will remember forever. This was such a fantastic opportunity for the children to be part of the Young Voices Choir – the largest children’s choir concerts in the world, and one that the children will cherish for lifetime.
