Cala Homes - Design a Garden winner!

Another win from Newport...the whole of Y6 entered a competition to design a garden for the new Wicken Lea site; this involved planning it with dimensions, using budgeting systems when thinking about what to include in their space and using creativity to design a garden which would appeal to everyone. Cala homes chose the winning design as Arianna and Olivia's and I must say, their design was stunning! It featured a sunshade sail, a bridge, a water feature, wildlife planting and was well thought out and presented. Both girls won an Amazon voucher- but even better, their design was made into an actual garden down at the site...move over Monty Don! Olivia went to see their finished design, along with Mrs Pine and they had a photo opportunity with Cala homes and the landscape company. Look out for the press release this week.
