Project - Parent Power

On Friday, Newport welcomed many parents, grandparents and carers into school to see the fantastic projects that all of the children in every class had made as part of their home learning tasks over the last 3 weeks. Projects ranged from: Under the sea, beaches, habitats, The Tudors, The Egyptians, Biomes and Shakespeare...and there was certainly a range of creative ideas seen. Children used their art, DT, English, Maths, Geography, History and computing skills in their work and the parents were invited in to give instant feedback; the children loved showing their work off and receiving instant accolades and the parents enjoyed seeing the range of talents from children on view. Thank you to everyone who came in to share the projects on Friday and to everyone who helped the children with their projects at home.
