Remembrance Sunday

The Youngest and oldest students of Newport School, along with Mrs Pine, went to the church on Sunday to take part in our Remembrance event and to lay the poppy wreaths made by Year 1 students. 

It was lovely to see so many representatives of school and we marched with the Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to the memorial and took part in the 2 minute silence along with lots of Newport residents.
